Collection Agencies can be a wild ride to run and manage. Fortunately, there are ways to keep yourself on top of agency management. In today’s episode, Alex and Spencer are joined by Nick Jarman of RightAway Consulting & Coaching as he shares his top tips for the leadership of collection agencies.

- Focus on servant leadership. What can you do to make other people better? Regardless of what background leadership comes from if you can focus them in on servant leadership, it’ll set the path in the right direction.
- Change starts at the very top so what are the majority owners or majority shareholders really buying into? If the upper echelon of the management is on board, you’ll see a lot of success, but if they’re not then, it’ll kind of fade away and fail eventually.
- You have to be compliant but also make money. You can be as compliant as you can be but if you’re not making money, it doesn’t do any good. Vice Versa, you can make as much money as you like but if you’re not compliant than that train going to come to a halt.
- Enjoy the ride. It’s a roller coaster what we do. It’s inherently negative, but we serve a great purpose, and there’s a lot of benefits and sometimes that gets overshadowed by the negatives. Take some time and enjoy that ride because that’s exactly what it is.
